Disputes

Resolution Centre — Admin Workflow

How admins review dispute evidence, communicate with parties, and apply a resolution decision.

All disputes are managed from Influenzic → Disputes in the WordPress admin. Each dispute has a threaded message log shared between the brand, the influencer, and the admin.

Reviewing a Dispute

  1. Open the dispute from the list. The project summary and pre-dispute status are shown at the top.
  2. Read the full message thread from both parties.
  3. Use the admin message form to request evidence, clarifications, or updates from either party.
  4. When a party replies, the dispute status automatically advances to under_review.

Applying a Decision

Select one of the four resolution decisions and enter public resolution notes (shown to both parties). Click Resolve to apply.

Decision Description
brand_refunded Brand wins; frozen funds returned to brand wallet
influencer_paid Influencer wins; frozen funds released to influencer (minus commission)
partial_refund Split outcome; admin specifies the refund percentage to the brand
no_action Dispute dismissed; project and funds restored to pre-dispute state
Resolution is irreversible. Double-check the decision and notes before confirming — there is no undo.

Reputation Impact

The platform applies a reputation penalty to the party found to be at fault based on the resolution decision. This affects their quality score and, for influencers, their creator level.
